WISE aims to provide:
- high quality commercial consultancy services to international agencies, government and NGO's that contribute to greater inclusion of gender issues within project design and implementation
- strong support networks for women consultants working independently who want to share ideas and discuss issues with women with similar interests
- mentoring and development support for less experienced women consultants working in developing countries by building partnerships with individuals and groups of women consultants in developing countries
- methods to enable ownership of both project design and evaluation by the people and agencies with whom we work, through use of participative and gender-sensitive methods
