WISE Associates' Assignments:
WISE Development is a network of Associate Consultants who are engaged by WISE on a sub-contract basis for assignments undertaken by WISE as an organisation. Associates also undertake assignments as individuals or as part of other networks. The examples of assignments listed in the following tables have been extracted from Senior Associates' CVs to give an indication of the range of skills and experience available to the WISE network.
If you are interested in following up an entry in the tables, for example to see if a Senior Associate would be available for a similar assignment, please contact Caroline Pinder: caroline.pinder@btinternet.com
Assignments have been grouped by region and discipline:
Six world regions:
- Sub-Saharan Africa
- Central, Southern and Eastern Asia
- Central & Eastern Europe, including transition economies and former Soviet Union Republics
- UK, rest of western Europe, North America, Australia. New Zealand: assignments commissioned in UK, Western Europe or North America usually with application or interest in developing and transitional countries
- Other areas of the world: (e.g. China, North Africa, Caribbean, South & Central America, Far East Asia)
- Multi-country/global reach: Cross-country assignments and work with global application
We recognise some of these regional divisions are a bit arbitrary, but they are a reflection of the areas with which WISE currently has strongest links (ie Sub-Saharan Africa, Southern Asia and the UK). Over time we plan to strengthen links with other areas of the world so that the distribution is more balanced.
